I just talked to a Real Estate Coach. She says she is her own coach. Rare is the person who can go it alone. At what cost? Time? Education? Or Transperancy and getting kicked in the tuckus? Are you teachable? Do you have a growth mindset? 'I do not need anybody telling me what to do!' or the better one "There's so many youtube coaches for free", "do I need a coach?" thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force... I'm seeing Notice of Default's rise. Short Sales aren't just an easy walk in the park! Have you trained on these market changes? Be the agent that has knoweledge. Don't be the agent that practices on your client.

Are you in contact with a lender? Are they showing you the benefits of what is happening in the mortgage world right now? This isn't your fathers mortgage world anymore. New products and down pyt assistance available.
Find a lender that will answer your calls, texts and emails. Yes, even on the weekends and in the evenings (don't abuse them though). And don't forget to refer that lender that works with you.

Be kind. Gene always promotes 'Be kind'. To your clients, title rep, escrow rep, lender, home inspector, Insurance rep. and other agents. Send birthday, anniversary, condolence and/or holiday cards.
Hand write a note thanking them for their assistance on a recent transaction or lead. Give them the Oprah/Nordstrom's treatment. Don't be that 'other' agent. Be kind. Answer your phone.

Be a person of integrity. Don't 'dance' around an issue. Be honest with your client and other agents. You will get a reputation and reputations stay for along time. True, agents may not stay in this profession long, but those of us who do stay remember. Do what you say you are going to do. Follow the guidelines of the contract. Remind your client to stay within the boundaries of the contract. Answer you emails, texts and answer your phone!
