The Bright Stars community is built on positivity, integrity, and respect. To maintain a trusted and uplifting environment, all contributors are expected to follow the guidelines below when submitting content, comments, ideas, or insights.

Be Original

  • Submit only content you have personally created.
  • Do not copy or reproduce others’ work without explicit permission and proper attribution.
  • Plagiarism—intentional or unintentional—is strictly prohibited.

Keep It Respectful and Professional

  • Speak respectfully about all individuals, organizations, brokerages, agents, and businesses.
  • Avoid negative, defamatory, or disparaging remarks, even if based on personal experience.
  • Focus on ideas, insights, and lessons—not criticism or blame.

Maintain a Positive and Constructive Tone

  • Contribute thoughts that uplift, inspire, or provide value to the community.
  • If discussing challenges, frame them with solutions, learning points, or encouragement.
  • Avoid inflammatory, hostile, or overly pessimistic language.

Provide Honest and Accurate Information

  • Share information and opinions based on your own experiences or knowledge.
  • Do not make false claims, exaggerations, or unverified accusations.
  • If unsure of a fact, say so or avoid stating it as true.

Respect Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Do not share private information about clients, colleagues, or businesses.
  • Remove identifying details when sharing stories, case studies, or personal experiences unless you have explicit permission.

Avoid Promotion and Hidden Advertising

  • Refrain from overly self-promotional content or hidden marketing.
  • Recommendations should be genuine, unbiased, and clearly disclosed when relevant.
  • Affiliate’s may not promote lending products or services—content must remain educational and value-driven.
  • Agents cannot use any postings as a recruitment source to your personal team of to your brokerage.

Contribute with Good Intentions

  • Add value, encourage growth, and collaborate in good faith.
  • Avoid trolling, spamming, or posting solely for attention or controversy.

Follow All Laws and Platform Rules

  • Ensure your content complies with copyright law, advertising regulations, and professional standards.
  • Respect any additional Bright Stars policies and updates.

Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in content removal, editing for compliance, or loss of contributor privileges. Bright Stars reserves the right to make final decisions regarding content suitability.
